Comedy writers John Warner and Teddy Wayne, known for their works in the Chicago Tribune and The New Yorker, will visit Lafayette College to give a talk on smart humor at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 28 in Colton Chapel.
The event is free and open to the public.
John Warner is author of "The Funny Man" and a longtime editor-at-large at McSweeney's Internet Tendency. He also writes the Biblioracle column for the Chicago Tribune's Printer's Row Journal.
Teddy Wayne is the author of the novels "The Love Song of Jonny Valentine" and "Kapitoil". The multi-award winning author is also a columnist for the New York Times, and his work regularly appears in The New Yorker, GQ, McSweeney's, and elsewhere.
Following the presentation, both Warner and Wayne will be available for a book signing. Copies of both Warner's and Wayne's works will be available for purchase in the vestibule of the chapel.
