Easton Area Spring Rummage Sale List 2014

Whether you love a bargain or need one, rummage sales are a great place to find both everyday and unusual treasures for a song. Additionally, rummage sales help keep perfectly good but unwanted and unneeded items out of the landfill and the proceeds help support a number of local community programs sponsored by local houses of worship, from Little League to food pantries to literacy initiatives.

In other words, rummage sales are a win for everyone. Get gently-worn items for the kids, practically new clothes and other items for yourself and your home, or find some amazing vintage and antique oddities, usually at spare-change prices or for literally a couple of bucks for a bagful.

But being in the know is the key to finding the best sales. Run by volunteers, there is no central place rummage sales are advertised--much like the events themselves, announcements are a bit haphazard, and finding them is often a matter of luck.

This is why The Easton Eccentric publishes two rummage sale lists annually--one each spring, and the other in the fall. And, we're pretty sure both rummage aficionados and newbies alike appreciate the effort, as past lists are some of our most trafficked posts over time. So pass on the link to this list your friends, and bookmark it for yourself, and check back weekly. We'll be adding more sales and information as it becomes available.

Rummage Sale (and blood drive!), sale includes something for everyone:  books, household items, toys, and lots of nice clothes, with some vintage and antique items as well. It has not been confirmed this year, but this sale is usually run as a bag sale, with prices at $3, $5, and $10 determined by the size of the bag. Bring a can of soup for the ProJeCt food pantry for $1 off. A bake sale will be held too to benefit the church's mission trip to the Dominican Republic this summer.
