Woman Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run, Easton Police Seek SUV Driver

A young woman was seriously injured Friday evening on Lehigh Drive near the Lafayette College boathouse when she was struck by a vehicle that was traveling east along the road. The driver did not stop and left the scene, the Easton Police Department reports.

The victim was transported to a local trauma center with serious injuries, police report.

Investigation into the hit-and-run incident is ongoing, but EPD Captain Scott Casterline said policed are looking for a small dark colored SUV that probably has front end damage on the passenger side as a result of the accident.
