Easton police announced today that Sean West, 23, will be charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the city's West Ward neighborhood in September.
In the early hours of September 19, an unidentified 39-year-old man was found stabbed multiple times near South 12th and Ferry streets. Police discovered the man's injuries when called to the location for a welfare check just after 6 a.m. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
Police report West is currently in Northampton County Prison on unrelated charges. He is expected to be arraigned in the court of District Magistrate Richard Yetter later today.
