Lehigh Valley Super Plunge: Begins at noon, runs through noon on Saturday. As a prelude to the Second Annual Lehigh Valley Polar Bear Plunge to take place on Saturday, Super Plungers will take an icy dips (once every hour for 24 hours) into a pool filled with frigid water to raise both funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes throughout the Lehigh Valley. Art Opening - "Fighters": 2 to 5 p.m. Over the past year, Marco Calderon, an Allentown photojournalist, documented the young men and women who come to Luis Melendez's Boxing and Youth Program in Allentown. As Allentown's future brightens, so do the hopes and aspirations of these young boxers who, for a variety of reasons, see boxing as important to their futures. A silent auction for one of the photos will be held during the show, and individual photos or complete sets will be available for order and sale.
