Natural gas hyrdrofracturing ("fracking") is devastating northern and western Pennsylvania, polluting drinking water wells and the air, damaging roads, and destroying wildlife habitats in "Penn's Woods". Our state environmental protection agency promotes fracking and -- although he cut a billion dollars from public school funding -- our governor insists Pennsylvania remain the only state that does not tax natural gas extraction, since he received 1.6 million dollars in campaign contributions from the gas industry.
ReplyDeleteCome to D.C. July 28 and help stop the madness.
