Classical Concert Events Set for This Weekend

After a hiatus from holding events this autumn, Noble Art Pianos will kick off 2013 with two free classical concert events this weekend.

 On Friday, January 4 at 7 p.m., pianist and senior performance major at Ithaca College Music Conservatory Erik Correll will perform. His selections are set to include Bach Toccata BWV 913 in D minor, Chopin Ballade No. 1, Beethoven Sonata No. 28 Op. 101 and Chopin Etude Op. 10 No. 5 ("Black Keys").

Yelena Grinberg
On Saturday, January 5 at 8 p.m., pianist Dr. Yelena Grinburg will perform an all-Bach program, including "Cappriccio on the Departure of the Beloved Brother" in B-flat Major, a selection of preludes and fugues from The Well-Tempered Klavier, Fantasy in D minor, Toccata in D Major, Italian Concerto in F Major and Partita No. 1 in B-flat Major.

Both concerts will be folowed by a reception with the artists.

There is no charge for either event, but reservations are required due to limited seating. To reserve seats,  call 610-258-8188, and be sure to include the number of seats desired and a phone number with all reservatations.
