Easton City Council meeting: 6 p.m. This meeting will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 601 West Berwick St., as part of the council's effort to hold meetings in various city neighborhoods from time to time.

Wilson Borough Council meeting: 7 p.m. 2040 Hay Terrace, Wilson Borough.

Forks Township Historical Society Meeting: 7 p.m. Len Buscemi presents "Local Trolleys and Trains." Easy parking and handicap accessible. All welcome. Palmer Adult Book Group: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Maryann McFadden will host a discussion on her newest book and third novel, "The Book Lover." The Book Lover has been selected as an "Indie Next Pick," which are the American Booksellers Association’s “must reads.” Books will also be available to purchase and have signed at the program. Film Showing - "Hospitalité": 7 p.m. Mikio runs a small printing company in downtown Tokyo, taking care of the machines while his young, beautiful wife manages the books and the education of her stepdaughter Eriko. Mikio's sister lives with them, retreating from her own broken marriage. Their earnest if humdrum lives see little drama, except the escape of their parakeet Pea, and the gossipy interference of the “Neighborhood Watch.” But drama is on its way in the form of the charming Kagawa, who forces his way into their lives bringing irrevocable consequences.  2010, Japanese with English Subtitles, 96 minutes, Not rated.
