Casera Restaurant Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting: 5 to 7 p.m. Casera's food reflects inspiration from Spanish and Caribbean flavors, also feature an art gallery displaying local artists' work. "Steam Railroads in China" slide lecture: 7:30 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m. Presented by the National Canal Museum, by Donald S. Young whose life-long fascination with antique railroad technology led him to spend many years as an engineer, mechanic, and fireman for various steam locomotive excursion lines, while working for Bethlehem Steel as a metalurgic engineer from 1962 to 2000. The lecture will be illustrated with pictures Mr. Young took on an extensive rail trip through China, which was dependent on steam locomotion until the late 1990s. Admission to the lecture, which is sponsored by the National Canal Museum and the Pennsylvania Canal Society, is $5 for members and $7 for non-members.
