Just heard that the roof on St. Janes' Church collapsed. They may have to hold their services at another Church. Is this true?
ReplyDeleteIt would appear this is untrue--the church, in Palmer, currently seems to have power and looks to have come through the storm unscathed. It was dark, but it definitely did not suffer a roof collapse.
DeleteThe school, in Wilson, is in an area that currently is without power. It also appears to be intact.
That said, if you attend St. Jane's Church, I would give the office a call to confirm service times on Sunday. Some area churches are reducing the number of services or changing their times this week due to the storm.
