Christina,
ReplyDeleteYou might want to check with the Lebanese Maronite Church. I am pretty sure in the relatively near future that they are having a big celebration going on around the Memorial Day holiday. I know that they have been planning it for a while. I tried to rent the hall from them on that weekend and they said that they can't. They said that they have some kind of once in a lifetime party/celebration going on that weekend.
That is all that I know. Wish I could tell you more, but I don't know anymore. If you find out what is going on, could you please post it?
I know that they always have nice festivals. So I am pretty anxious to see what is going to go on during that Memorial Day weekend. That way, if something nice is going on, I can cancel my usual party and just hang out and support them at their festival. Because their food is always awesome at their festivals!!!
Don't you like their festivals, too?
Thanks for letting me know. I'll check into it, and if the event is open to the public, you will definitely find something about it on The Easton Eccentric.
DeleteThanks Christina. How will I know either way if you find out something? I am really pumped if it is another Heritage festival for the Lebanese Maronite Church. I loved their cooking. Don't you, too? Maybe I can't meet up with you there and talk over some lunch? My treat?
ReplyDeleteChristina,
ReplyDeleteAny luck with finding out what is going on at the Maronite Church Memorial Day weekend?
Yes, the church will be celebrating the ordination and first liturgy of a new deacon that weekend. Sorry, you'll have to wait until August for the food festival, it seems...
DeleteIs it open to the public?
