And, if you care about the environment, know too that rummage sales help keep perfectly good but unwanted and unneeded items out of the landfill, too.
In other words, rummage sales are a win for everyone.
But being in the know is the key to finding the best sales. Run by volunteers, there is no central place rummage sales are advertised--much like the events themselves, announcements are a bit haphazard, and finding them is often a matter of luck.
This is why The Easton Eccentric publishes two rummage sale lists annually--one each spring, and the other in the fall. And, we're pretty sure both rummage aficionados and newbies alike appreciate the effort, as past lists are some of our most trafficked posts over time.
