Easton Democrats to Hold Third Annual Gala

The Easton Area Democratic Committee will hold its third annual "Easton in Blue Gala" next Friday, September 20 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Bank Street Annex, 316 Bank St. Tickets are $85 per person.

Dinner, awards, and dancing are all part of this social event that highlights the Easton Area Democratic Committee's work promoting Democratic values and getting Democrats elected.

Easton Mayor Sal Panto will be the Master of Ceremonies and U.S. Congressman Matt Cartwright will deliver the keynote address. The EADC will acknowledge members of the Democratic community who exemplify Democratic values and make contributions to the Democratic party and to the Easton area.

Set to be honored at the event are:

  • Stephen P. Curto, who will receive the Dr. George Smith Award
  • Evelyn Gulick, who will receive the Sen. Jeanette Reibman Award
  • Ricardo Garcia, for the Young Democrat Award

The EADC Committee Person of the Year Award recipient will be announced at the Gala, event organizers said.

The Easton Area Democratic Committee works to promote Democratic values and to elect Democrats to local, state and national offices. EADC members represent Easton, Glendon, West Easton, Williams Township, and Wilson Borough.
