The Arabian Nights: 8 p.m. The classic tales known around the world come to life in an inventive and ingenious adaptation created by Mary Zimmerman, the prize-winning author and director of "The Metamorphoses", which imagined Ovid’s ancient stories as products of our own time. Magical, poignant, bawdy, cruel—and with original music composed by Tom DiGiovanni '96—this night of bittersweet enchantment, said the New York Times, “is a celebration of the salutary powers of storytelling.” Directed by Mary Jo Lodge. 'Raise the Roof' Golden Oldies Benefit Concert: 6 p.m. Temple Covenant of Peace is hosting this event to raise funds for their desperately needed new roof. Featuring Tommy “The Piano Man” Zito, Doo- Wop favorite “Desire”, Johnny Mullins as Elvis, local tenor John Cerrilli and Lehigh Valley favorite, The Main Street Cruisers.
