Easton Police Investigating Gun Shots

Shots were apparently fired early this morning in the area of North 11th and Bushkill streets, and a house was damaged by the gunfire, though there have been no reports of injuries.

Easton Police say they received a report of shots fired at approximately 2:06 a.m., and upon officers' arrival at the scene, evidence of gunfire was discovered.

A nearby home sustained minor damage from what appeared to be a gunshot, police added.

An older model black SUV, possibly a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, was seen in the area around the time of the incident and left the area travelling south on 11th Street from Bushkill Street, authorities said.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident, the department said in a media release.
