The City of Easton auction, which was cancelled at the last minute in April, has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 10 at the city public works complex at 500 Bushkill St. View items beginning at 8 a.m., auction begins at 9 a.m. A number of interesting city items, including West Ward Street signs, city Christmas decorations and more is expected to be on the list of items to be auctioned. The 6th Annual Derriere in the Delaware is set for Saturday, August 17 beginning at 10 a.m. $5 per person, plus $10 for a tube, which is yours to keep or can be donated back. All proceeds benefit the Easton Area Police Athletic League's Cops 'n Kids Reading Room. Float begins at Eddyside Park, ends at Scott Park. Buses will be available to take tubers from Scott Park upriver to Eddyside for river access. Rain date is Sunday, August 18. Click here for more information.
