Runaway Teen Suspected of Armed Robbery Taken Into Custody

Al-fuquan Craft, who was being sought by police in connection with an armed robbery that took place in Easton's South Side neighborhood last week, was taken into custody this afternoon in Palmer Township by Easton police detectives, authorities have announced.

The 16-year-old was also classified as a runaway and had been reported to have been traveling in a stolen dark blue 1994 Saturn SL. The vehicle was reportedly found this afternoon in Easton.

Palmer Township Police Department assisted with the arrest, Easton Police Detective Daniel Reagan said.

Craft will be charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, Sept. 27 in the city's Southside neighborhood involving a knife, Easton Police Lt. Matt Gerould said on Tuesday night.

Updated at 9:31 p.m. to add information about charges pending against Craft.
